
The Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported the detention of Oscar "N" in connection with the lynching of four men in Yebuciví, Almoloya de Juárez, on December 15. With this arrest, there are now four people detained linked to this violent incident.
According to FGJEM, the municipal police of Almoloya de Juárez alerted about the lynching of at least two people in Yebuciví, where forensic experts from the Attorney General's Office found four burned bodies. Juan "N", Ismael "N", and Valeria "N" had already been captured on December 22 for allegedly spraying the victims with a flammable liquid and setting them on fire.
In a separate operation on February 12, Oscar "N" was arrested and sent to the Santiaguito Penitentiary Center in Almoloya de Juárez. According to initial investigations, the victims were lynched for extorting the inhabitants of Yebuciví, as revealed by the autopsy indicating that two died from cranioencephalic trauma and two from bullet wounds to the skull.
Investigations point to the involvement of 13 individuals in the lynching, and during the indictment hearing, preventive detention was ordered. FGJEM continues to investigate the extortion complaints filed by residents of Yebuciví and reminded that the detainees are innocent until a judge issues a conviction.
